About Me:
My mom used to tell me often that I’d be a counselor someday because I was always more interested in how others were doing and why they were doing what they were doing, than going outside to play.
I have been in full time ministry for 26 years now. I’ve worked in and alongside various church denominations and ministries as a pastoral counselor, women’s ministry leader, prayer director, missionary and conference speaker. I have worked with the homeless, in mainstream evangelical Christian circles, tv and have traveled with ministries across the United States just walking through the doors the Lord had opened and I have been astounded to see how He transformed lives, marriages, ministries, churches, towns and nations before my eyes through His passionate and persistent love for us, His people.

Education & Experience:
To partner with the Lord of All in His restorative and transformative power is nothing short of a miracle. It has been my experience in the daily following of Jesus, on that narrow path, that we come to see; not how great our name is made known, but what He does ‘through’ us as we surrender to make His Name known. For as we lift His Name up, all will be drawn nigh unto Him, not us. As a counselor I cannot play God in your life, but I am to be a road sign pointing you back to Him. He looks for willing vessels, passionate followers who know who they are in Him, and not in the flesh. “But who are you?” (Acts 19:15) That is a very important verse in scripture for us all. I’m grateful to the Lord to have had Him experientially show me this in my own life and walk with Him. I have sat on boards, round tables and panels; also with famous ministries and with politicians and not because I am anything, but because He made the way as I simply followed Him, because as I have learned and continue to learn, to die to self and allow Him to work through me. (John 3:30)
My role here at LifeDiscovery is that of a pastoral counselor. I use the Bible and the leading of the Holy Spirit to counsel with. I use the gifts I was given by the Lord to listen, discern, pray and share the prophetic insights He shows me. I will share the tools He has given me so you do not have to hit the same rocks as I did. I am a big fan of watching our thoughts. As the verse says in Proverbs 23:7; “As a man thinks in his heart so is he.” Everything pertaining to life and death begins in our heart, but manifest in our thoughts. There is a wonderful quote to accompany this; “Watch your thoughts they become your words; watch your words they become your actions; watch your actions they become your habits; watch your habits they become your character; watch your character; it becomes your destiny. The only character we want is the character of Christ within us. He is our destiny.
I will encourage you to take hold of the faith we have in Christ Jesus, I will also give you the tools and resources I’ve gathered in my 26 years walking with Him. I could give you a lot of information as well, but we are in a time now where just giving information will not suffice. We are in a world that is drowning in information that is at our fingertips, but yet starving for the wisdom we desperately need that only comes from Jesus. We need the wisdom of Christ that will shine the light needed into every dark or grey area you may be struggling with so you no longer deal with secondary symptoms, but finally put the ax to the root issue. Tools and resources help point us to Christ, but they are not a substitute for going to Christ for ourselves. A good verse to put here is Proverbs 3:5-6; “ Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean, not on your own understanding, and in all of your ways, acknowledge him, and he shall make your path straight.” Sometimes on that path we encounter bumps or maybe they seem like mountains to you. These challenges the Lord allows because those mountains are there to strengthen us, to test us. We can’t see what we are made of until there is a demand placed on the potential the Lord gave us. We find a verse in scripture that says; “Until the word of the Lord comes to pass, the word of the Lord tests us.” (Psalm 105:19) However, we too often try carrying those mountains around instead of climbing them in order to get to the intended victory the Lord has for us on the other side of that mountain. We wind up giving up right before the victory was to be had. We are then tired and don’t know why, feeling like we’ll never reach the other side, the reason oftentimes is we are carrying those mountains instead of climbing them in order to strengthen our spiritual muscles.
One of those muscles that need strengthening is the heart. The heart, the heart, It will always come down to the heart with the Lord. The motives, attitudes and agendas of our hearts. (1 Samuel 16:7) If He has access to your heart, if you are ready to surrender in this new season, if you are willing to allow Him to shine His light in the hidden places in your life with a trusted counselor, then I can guarantee you growth, joy, victory and deliverance, not because of who I am, but because of Who He is. Exodus 15:26. “I am the Lord who heals you.” Are you ready to surrender to get the necessary healing in order to climb that mountain to victory?

Personal Life:
I am a true INFJ. I love to read. I love being out in nature. We walk by faith as followers of Christ, many things we cannot see as we follow Him, but when we are out in His creation, we get to see His handiwork up close and personal. The wonder of watching a sunrise or sunset, to see an eagle flying overhead, to witness wildlife in the environment that He has created with one word from His mouth; that brings me joy. I enjoy walking the parks across Oregon. I love getting a tea, getting into my jeep and driving with no destination planned. I love to travel and have lived in Kenya, Jerusalem, British Columbia and across the United States. I enjoy random conversation with strangers because most of the time it is genuine and raw. I love being in His word and writing on my blog. I also love animals. I am not on any social medias aside from YouTube where I enjoy listening to sermons and watching cat videos.
TESTIMONIALS:
“Kristine is an incredible woman of God. She has a heart and passion to help people during their darkest times. I was at a point in my life where I thought there was no hope. My husband of 15 years had left me and I felt like a failure. I felt like God had left me, but Kristine opened my eyes to God‘s direction for me, and helped me to love and embrace myself, to help find peace in the middle of my storm. I would recommend this woman as one to be there for you, to listen, encourage, challenge you and to pray you through.“ -Michelle S
“I started seeing Kristine when my entire world crashed down on me. I was referred to her by my pastor and I’m so thankful I listened! Kristine has spoken truth into my life and help me see beyond the painful issues at hand. She has helped me stay focused on God‘s plan and healing for my heart. I honestly don’t know where I’d be today if it wasn’t for her. In an abusive situation that had me fearing for my life, she prayed with me and encouraged me to keep going and found a way to safety. Forever grateful!”-Jennifer
“She speaks with wisdom and faithful instructions on her tongue. Proverbs 31:26. This is Kristine. A true woman of God, the bride of Christ, daughter of the King and a friend of the Holy Spirit. I have been corresponding with Kristine for eight years and I’m closer in my walk with the Lord due to her wisdom and compassion. She truly cares for all people and the love of Jesus shines through her as she minister to his sheep. I have observed how God has worked through her in many of her life‘s challenges and blessings, and she has always brought glory to him. Her wise council and loving prayers had lifted me up during very dark times and helped me to continue in my music ministry.“-Erin
“My husband, and I were referred to Kristine at a point where I had lost all hope our marriage would succeed. We had seen previous marriage counselors with zero success, but I felt the need to try one last time to save our family! Her faith based approach was unlike anything I had seen. I cannot express enough, how thankful I am that we met her! I truly believe God placed her in our path because he knew she could help us rebuild something that had been broken. Without her guidance, we would have ended our marriage and been another statistic. Her compassion, empathy and faith based guidance gave us the tools to save our family! We just celebrated our 24th anniversary and are thriving!“-Yvonne
